Matt Lamb's SRE 1293 Turbo - V-tech eater!
SRE built 1293 turbo engine V-tech eater!! 160 bhp @ 6000 and 165 lb ft torque @ 4458 nicely prep'd car with large intercooler and dump valve. Car has been on the road for nearlly a year now with no problems whatsoever. Recently fitted an air/fuel ratio meter which is so reassuring when doing dyno work. This allows a much faster response time when analysing mixture/timing - very important on an engine with this kind of power. We are now building a near replica engine for matts brother Spencer with just a few extra mods!! How much more power any one will need when this mini spins wheels in 4th gear I don't know ?
